Set up, operate, or tend paper goods machines that perform a variety of functions, such as rewinding/folding,sawing, banding, wrapping, cartoning, boxing, or stacking of paper goods

Echo/Rewinder Operator

Echo/Rewinder Operator

Tends machine that winds paper from one roll to another to form compact rolls of specified footage or diameter prior to cutting.  Verifies perforations, size and alignment of rewind rolls.  Position requires working a rotating swing shift.

Electrical/Mechanical Technician

The primary purpose of this position is to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in a paper converting manufacturing facility to ensure production continuity and efficiency. Incumbent must be capable of diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment in the manufacturing facility.  Highly refined electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic skills are critical.  Welding and machining skills are very important.  The ability to use diagnostic testing equipment is necessary.  Precise arm-hand positioning for the operation of hand drills and other hand and power tools is required.  Must be capable of working with both arms above shoulder level in cramped areas of machines.  Must be capable of using ladders and steps to access equipment in confined spaces.  Must be able to work in small cramped areas and at heights in excess of 25 feet.  Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (75 pounds or more) long distances (over 30 feet).  Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds overhead without assistance. Must be capable of safely operating cranes, lift trucks, scissors lifts, man lifts and other equipment.  Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly or continually to repair equipment.  Must have the ability to work safely around potentially dangerous equipment (such as metal saws, etc.) without presenting a threat to self or co-workers.

Work Schedule is 12-hour rotating shifts.
