Traffic Coordinator
     Shift - 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  • Examine contents and compare with records, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Confer and correspond with appropriate representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
  • Monitor shipping materials and supplies to maintain adequate inventory of stock.
  • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials to include transfers within GBC & HPCN, along with recycling loads.
  • Manage dock doors and drop lots for pre-loads.
  • Ensure every trailer is physically sealed by sealing or double checking seal.
  • Act as a resource to direct forklift drivers as needed.
  • Greet and direct drivers (including in-bound and outbound) as well as visitors that enter the shipping office in a professional and courtesy manner.
   


Quality Assurance Technician
The purpose of this position is to assist Hattiesburg floor crews, staff and customers with any quality issues relating to materials, products, processes or specifications.  The position is also responsible for the Hold / Rejects process.  There are two positions available, first and second shift.


Crew Member

Crew Member

Responsibilities for this position may include:  assisting machine operators by performing manual labor tasks; assist with roll changes; cleans work area; assists in maintaining quality standards; stacking cartons, and other duties as assigned.  The position requires working a 12 hour rotating shift.

 


Bag Operator

Bag Operator

Operator is responsible for: Maintaining customer quality standards on printed bags; meeting the minimum cases per shift; maintaining and troubleshooting machine and peripheral equipment in addition to other duties.  Position requires working a 12 hour rotating shift.


Material Handler/Lift Truck Operator

Material Handler/Lift Truck Operator

This position requires experience operating Roll Clamps, Forks and Box Clamps in a safe, efficient manner.  Incumbent must be able to read and understand work orders, load manifests and material specifications.  The position requires 12 hour rotating shifts.


Assistant Bag Operator

Assistant Bag Operator

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Bag Operator in running the Bag Machines.  Tasks will include:  roll changes, clearing jam-ups, starting and stopping the machine, changing glue barrels, cleaning anilox rolls, plates and impressions, change or repair printing plates, web the machine, completing necesary paperwork, and other duties as assigned.  This position is a rotating 12 hour shift.
